PRO-ENTERIC ADVANCED is a complementary food containing prebiotics and beneficial microorganisms that help stabilize the intestinal flora.
How it works:
Enterococcus faecium is a Probiotic that promotes the competitive exclusion mechanism, combating the overgrowth of pathogenic microorganisms causing diarrhea in pets. By means of competitive exclusion, it prevents pathogenic microorganisms from remaining in the intestine and getting nutrients, thus recovering the normal intestinal flora.
Prebiotic is the specific substrate of beneficial bacteria such as Enterococcus faecium. By administering the bacteria together with their specific substrate, the beneficial effect of the Probiotic is enhanced, as its viability is increased.
The combination of Probiotic and Prebiotic is called Synbiotic. Caoline has the ability to retain bacteria and toxins, preventing them from acting on the intestinal mucosa. It makes stools more solid, as it also retains water.
Pectin thickens liquid stools, due to its ability to retain water and normalize intestinal peristalsis.
Recommended Use:
In pets presenting diarrhea, which may be caused by:
-Treatments by oral route of broad spectrum antibiotics.
-Alterations or changes in diet.
-Food allergies or intolerances.
-Intestinal infections (parasitic, viral, bacterial). Pancreatic problems, malabsorption syndrome.
-Chronic hepatic alterations.
-Stress or exhausting situations.
Suitable for Dog, Cat, Ferret, Rabbit and Rodent.
Administration:
Administer the following amounts orally, 2 times a day:
-Puppies, kittens and rabbits 1 ml.
-animals less than 10 kg 2 ml
-10-30 kg 4 ml
-over 30 kg 5 ml.
The minimum recommended administration period is 3 days, since it is usually acute diarrhea, but depending on each case and at the discretion of the veterinarian, this guideline can be modified.
For an integral management of diarrhea, an appropriate dietary management may also be necessary, as well as rehydrating the animal to compensate the loss of liquids.
